THESE ARE OUR CATS! THIS IS MY BLOG!

Rosie and Charley are siblings and best friends. We adopted them
from friends who rescued their little family.

Bugsy showed up on our street on a hot summer day - tiny, hungry, and as it turns out, very lucky.
He thinks Charley is his mum!

There is also the occasional litter of foster kittens . . .

These felines have been kind enough to share the house with us.
We thought we might share them with you.

Just what we needed - another kitten!

A couple days ago, Gary found this little kitten under our neighbor's car parked on the street. Of course he brought him in . . .
Just a little guy.

About 6 weeks old, dirty and covered in fleas, he got a bath
right away!
Charley and Rosie took to him right away - I wonder why?
I guess Gary's got himself a kitten. :)
Can you believe it? Less than a week after all the OTHER kitties were adopted, this guy shows up! Gary will get to spend the weekend with his little buddy (Bug-Z, for now) while I'm away. I hear they are already best pals!

Bella and Pru go home with Susan!

A BIG wish came true on Saturday when my good friend Susan took both Pru AND Bella home!  We caught up today and Susan told me that mum and little girl gave Susan and her son, Adam, quite a show of "Chase!" and "Watch me Run!".  Soooo . . . it's pretty quiet here, Rosie and Charley are happy to have their humans all to themselves (I think), and our job is done - for now ; )

Susan and Bella take a break from play.

We're so glad they found a home together!

Bella likes the soft life.

And then there was one . . .

The last of the litter, little Bella. "Hey, what about ME?"  It's tough the be the littlest sister!  I'm sure someone will want to give this soft, petite lovey a home.

Bella gets the window to herself.

Bella is getting lots of love and play from the big cats - not that she minds a bit.  She's also been very chirpy and chatty, and follows me around the house. I think she's blossoming with all the one-on-one attention!

"Charley - all mine!"
I'm just waiting for the right one . .

Mungojerrie's Wild Ride . . . Home

On Saturday, Mungojerrie went home with Kimberly to join resident cat "Tig".  That little puppy-pawed kitten yelled quite a bit on the way out the door, having no idea he'd be getting spoiled rotten in the very near future!

He stayed in full-on play mode during the visit - nothin' but blur!

New Moon: Mowry Goes Home as "Luna"

On Friday evening, Mowry met her new forever family, Eva and Malko, and went home to join her new BFF, Leo.  Leo and Luna - sweet, huh?
Malko, Eva and Luna (aka Mowry)
Eva reported back to me the very next day that Leo and Luna were getting on just great. Leo was showing Luna how to properly use the stairs (two at a time!), which were new to her. I'm sure they'll all be "over the moon" with the new addition to their family.
"That's so funny!"
Luna's turn in the basket.  Why do they like this so much?

Krystal Takes a Shine to Molly

On Friday Little Molly Munchkin went home with Krystal and her sisters Kim and Kaitlin.  The girls spent a couple hours here with their Grandma Lee (my next-door neighbor) and ALL the kittens to see who would become Ninja's new BFF.  Ninja is a 1-year old Siamese adopted from a shelter when he was a kitten. Early report is that they are getting long fine with just a hiss here and there.

Molly will also get to play with the family's cat-friendly dogs - a yorkie, two malti-poos, and a chihuahua.  Look out dogs!  Molly charmed Rosie, so she can charm anyone.
Molly takes a cautious approach - this is Rosie's window.

Fear me . . .

. . . . not!

Darlin' Clementine Picks Sharon

Sharon and Clementine

On Sunday, Miss Clementine decided that, yes, she would go home with Sharon, a lovely person we know from the community gardens.  Sharon told us "Technically, she'll be my mother's cat, unless she does something naughty, then she's MY cat!"  Oh my, we wouldn't want to encourage bad behavior, now would we?

"MY dirty sock!  Don't you even LOOK at it!  Grrr . . . grrr."
